A spunky 4 year old, a beautiful summer night filled with golden rays from the setting sun, and little old me with my camera all — mix this all together and you get some really beautiful images with a splash of humorous faces. Here is a quick glimpse into this sweet, spunky girl spinning in the gardens of the Historic Deepwood Estates as she prepares to turn 4 years old. This session is also a good example of how sometimes kids my start “grumpy” but really, they just need some time to warm up—and sometimes those grumpy photos are the best illustration of a child’s various emotions. I enjoy capturing various sides of kids, as its not always sunshine and rainbows. You need the gray storms before the rainbows can come out.
